It's election season at Endover Academy, an exclusive English Public school, and the race for Head Boy is beginning to turn ugly. A dark comedy about greed, power and the election process, THE PRINCE AMONG MEN bears a striking resemblance to the infamous 2000 U.S. election, though hopefully the consequences for the world economy won't be quite so disastrous.
A man sits. A woman appears behind him. She begins to speak, telling him a story about Napoleon Bonaparte. She claims that he is Napoleon and that she is Shahrazad, the heroine of the Arabian Nights. She describes how the self-proclaimed emperor rose to power on lies, deceit, and an insatiable ego -- a picture starkly at odds with the person he claims to be.
